Moama Solar Farm

 Providing energy that is

Renewable

Reliable &

Affordable

Located approximately 5km north of Moama and the Murray River in regional NSW, the Moama Solar Farm being developed by CleanPeak Energy is set for completion by late 2024. The proposed 7.5MW photovoltaic electricity generating system will comprise close to 10,000 solar panels, ground-mounted on a single axis tracking system to follow the daily east-west movement of the sun.

The solar farm layout has been carefully designed to protect the environmental aspects of the site, minimise the removal of native vegetation and avoid areas of cultural sensitivity.

The clean energy generated at the Moama Solar Farm will help power Sydney’s iconic Barangaroo Precinct, advancing its net-zero agenda.

The Moama Solar Farm will be connected to the surrounding distribution network, expected to supply 15GWh of clean energy annually. That’s enough clean energy to avoid over 10,000 tonnes of CO2 being emitted into the atmosphere every year.

The clean energy generated by this in-front-of-the-meter solar asset each year will be equivalent to taking 2,000 fuel-burning cars off the road, or powering 3,000 average Australian homes.
